- Please remember that any homework given is something Mrs. Stewart and I feel is necessary. Please ensure your child is completing homework on time!
- 3rd grade is a big year in terms of responsibility. PLEASE encourage your child to be responsible for writing down homework each day, completing homework and studying for tests, as well as getting the necessary things signed. Please do not do things for them, rather encourage students to be responsible! Thank you! :-)
- Please be sure to check your child's tickets and important notes each night.
- Carpool and Front Doors will open at 7:15am daily
- Walkers are NOT allowed to walk through any parking lots
- Please ensure your child has TENNIS shoes for PE. This is a requirement. They may change shoes prior to PE
- Please ensure that your child's clothing follows dress code. No flip flops or slides.
- DPES tardy policy will be enforced beginning MONDAY, AUGUST 24th . Therefore, any student not seated in his/her classroom when the 8:00 bell rings is considered tardy to school. A student arriving after 8:00 a.m. must report with his/her parent/guardian to the front office and sign in, giving the reason for being late. Students that are signing in late due to a doctor/dentist appointment must have an excuse from the doctor/dentist to be considered an excused tardy.
- SCHOLASTIC BOOKS - Your child will bring home a Scholastic Book brochure this week. I encourage you to check out the books and possibly offer to purchase one for your child as a reward, incentive, etc. These are great, quality books at a terrific price! To order, simply click below!
- Please see the DPES website for the latest announcements and be sure to check out the calendar for all upcoming events!
Should you need our class activation code, it is: L7VRY
The more books YOU order, the more reward points our class earns to purchase new books for the classroom library. It's a win for all! :-)
